DMCA Policy
Chorizo Pasta respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the "DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Chorizo Pasta website and services if such claims are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent identified below.
If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, or authorized to act under any exclusive right under copyright, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Chorizo Pasta website (the "Site") by completing the following DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to our Designated Copyright Agent.
Filing a Notice of Alleged Infringement (DMCA Notice)
When you submit a DMCA Notice, please ensure it substantially complies with the requirements set forth below. Please note that Chorizo Pasta may not be able to act on your notice if it does not meet these requirements.
- Identify the copyrighted work: Clearly identify the copyrighted work or works claimed to have been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, provide a representative list of such works.
- Identify the infringing material: Identify the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit Chorizo Pasta to locate the material (e.g., a URL or specific location on the Site).
- Provide contact information: Include your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Include a statement of good faith belief: Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Include a statement under penalty of perjury: Include a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Provide an electronic or physical signature: Provide your electronic or physical signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient for an electronic submission).

Counter-Notification Procedures
If you believe that material you posted on the Site was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us (a "Counter-Notice") by submitting written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent using the contact information provided on our Contact Us page.
Pursuant to the DMCA, the Counter-Notice must include substantially the following:
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside of the U.S., for any judicial district in which Chorizo Pasta may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
- Your electronic or physical signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient for an electronic submission).
The DMCA allows Chorizo Pasta to restore the removed content if the party filing the original DMCA Notice does not file a court action against you within ten business days of receiving your Counter-Notice.
